Timeline

• 1973 - Born in Paris to Jacques Bruyere, a relatively well off entrepreneur of a recently Pureblood family, and Angelique Bruyere, his wife, a half-blood witch from Southern France.

• 1984 - Much to his mother's chagrin, Caius's father insists that Caius attend Durmstrang. This is the correct decision. Caius would have killed people if he was forced to wear a powder blue beret for any length of time.

• 1990 - Caius's mother dies in a boating accident.

• 1991 - Finishes his schooling and is hired by the French Ministry as an Obliviator. Meets Aurelian l'Envers, begins a relationship.

• 1995 - Spends a year charming the French purebloods in an attempt to gain Aurelian's family's acceptance.

• 1996 - Moves with Aurelian to England, and opens up a shop on Knockturn Alley, making and selling Pensieves and offering Memory Charms for a price.

• July 2000 - Caius's half-sister, Tessa, is finally allowed to come visit her brother in England.

• D-Day - When Knockturn is attacked, Caius manages to send Tessa off with Aurelian. As he was going into the back of his shop to grab a couple of essentials, however, he was caught by Death Eaters waiting for him specifically. Since then, he's been in the care and housing of Shadow.
