Character History:
Adelard has a number of notable accomplishments across the course of his life. This has led to him being something of a household name. These known accolades include:
* Lord Morhban of the Wizengamot - The Morhban family has held a seat on the Wizengamot since its founding, and Adelard took his family seat after the death of his father, Lord Aurelian de Morhban, in 1965.
* Order of Merlin, First Class - In 1982 Adelard stopped a dragon's attack on a coastal town in Northern Scotland, without injury to bystander or, notably, the dragon in question.
* British Delegate to the International Confederation of Wizards - Since 1978
* Bravery Against Fantastic Beasts Award - 1982
* Dark Force Defense League, Member - Since 1957
* International Wizarding Order of Merit - In 1975, while researching dragons in Bulgaria, Adelard came across a construct of Dark Magic, the likes of which he had never seen before. It had terrorized a local wizarding town, leaving the residents despondent and sickly. Adelard found and destroyed the cursed object from which the beast had arisen, and thus saved the thing for spreading across Eastern Europe. Some speculate that the item had been one of Lord Voldemort's early experiments.
* Award for Wizarding Advancement - Awarded 1976. Discovery of a new dragon breed, the Bulgarian Bantam, the smallest dragons ever found.
* Golden Quill Award - Awarded 1978 for his book 'Dragons: A Lost Species' regarding the Bulgarian Bantam, their secretive natures, and speculations about the rest of dragonkind.
* Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award - Awarded 1980, he was something of a charmer in his middle age. Does not like to talk about it.
